Free Online Teachers' Workshops Registration

Following the launches of our newest publications for AMEB Trumpet Series 2 (Grades 5 & 6) and AMEB Flute Series 4 (Preliminary to Grade 4), we are excited to deliver online workshops with AMEB Consultants Suzanne Wedding (Trumpet) and Jocelyn Fazzone (Flute) for free in February.

Discover the guiding principles of the latest gradebook publications, including repertoire selection, musicality, performance, skill and ability. Take the opportunity to hear and learn from music performance, composition and education experts.

AMEB Trumpet with Suzanne Wedding

Suzanne Wedding has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and her AmusA and LmusA on the trumpet. She is an accomplished trumpet and horn player and music educator with a long career teaching, currently lecturing in Trumpet at The Melbourne University Conservatorium of Music. Suzanne has a strong interest in pedagogy and repertoire, and an incredibly vast music library collected over decades. Suzanne is heavily involved with the Musical Society of Victoria, which offers student performance opportunities on all instruments. With a pedagogical approach of breath and air efficiency, sound embouchure set up and imparting enthusiasm for the music and practice needed to achieve technical prowess, Suzanne teaches with passion, enthusiasm and excitement, which proves infectious for her students.

 

AMEB Flute with Jocelyn Fazzone

Jocelyn Fazzone is a well-known Sydney-based flute teacher, performer and pianist. Her musical career is busy and varied - she teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium High School and has a large private studio. She is the Woodwind Chief examiner (NSW), an AMEB Federal examiner and performs with the Windfall quintet. She enjoys combining her instrumental roles by working as an associate artist on piano with some of Sydney's leading flautists and accompanying her own students to give insight into the interpretation of repertoire. She is also a music editor, publisher and author of pedagogical flute works.
