Join us for two online workshops exploring our new Horn syllabus

Prominent Australian horn player and Syllabus Consultant, Ysolt Clark will guide you through what’s new in the 2022 Horn syllabus.

With a discussion of syllabus updates, demonstrations of technical exercises and exciting new repertoire, and plenty of time for Q&A, you’ll get a deeper understanding to support your teaching.

Did you know?

This is the first complete revision of the syllabus since 2004. The revision was conducted with the aims of:

  • Reflecting current international best practice in horn pedagogy
  • Offering a new selection of graded repertoire
  • Updating the Manual Lists to incorporate the best and most pedagogically valuable repertoire currently available
  • Streamlining and improving the technical work in consultation with instrumental specialists across the country
