General Knowledge Guidelines
General Knowledge Guidelines have been developed for Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Teaching Syllabuses
Objectives have been developed and added to CTMusA and ATMusA, thus aligning them with LTMusA.
Grading Descriptors have been formulated for CTMusA, ATMusA and LTMusA. These descriptors are outlined in full in Regulation 29 - Assessment System

Violin
Use of New and Old Syllabuses
During 2006, both the new and old Violin syllabuses may be presented for examination. It is not possible to present for examinations using a combination of the old and new syllabuses.

Piano for Leisure
During 2006, the Certificate of Completion will be evaluated.

Piano Review
This syllabus will be under review until the end of June, at which time the review will close. Keep checking this website for regular updates, consultation material, and questionnaires.

CPM
The Keyboard syllabus of CPM has been reviewed. The Revised Keyboard Syllabus is available as a free download from this website.

There have been no alterations to syllabuses for 2006.

Notice of Withdrawals
Violin
At the end of 2006, the old Violin Syllabus (1995) will be withdrawn.

Teaching Syllabus - TMusA
The Teacher of Music Australia Syllabus (TMusA) was withdrawn at the end of 2005.
