    Syllabus Review Process

The AMEB Syllabus Review Process is a consultative approach to syllabus development. We seek input from teachers, examiners, students and parents. Consequently, a new syllabus takes time to develop.

The following syllabuses are undergoing a period of review:

    Oboe

The AMEB oboe syllabus is now under review. Tell us what you think about the oboe syllabus through the Oboe Syllabus Review facebook page or by email.

    Percussion

The AMEB percussion syllabus is now under review.

    Error Notification

    2012 Manual of syllabuses

    Piano - Fourth Grade
Section II. Studies and Pieces (page 64)
The first sentence reads 'Candidates must prepare four works, one from each of Lists A, B, C, and D, for presentation at examination.' This is an error. Candidates in Fourth Grade must prepare three works, one from each of Lists A, B, and C, for presentation at examination. There is no List D in the Fourth Grade syllabus.
